Must-Sees!

1. Vallée de Mai National Park

Full of lots of plants and animals, this is one place you won't want to miss. With the lush palms and exquisit plants, Vallée de Mai is a tourist attraction the whole family will enjoy.

2. Bird Island

This island is a bird watcher's dream. With more than 1,500,000 birds visiting on a migratory path each year, the bird watch of your family will not want to leave this island in Seychelles.

3. Curieuse Island + Marine National Park

There are many unique things to see on Curieuse including the Coco de Mer, mangrove forests, Aldabra tortoises, takamaka trees, hawksbill (a type of bird) and green sea turtle breeding ground and the Seychelles Black Parrot as well as much more indigenous animals.

Excursions can be arranged from Praslin or any other island in the Seychelles. The first thing visitors observe is the clash between the green plants and the red ground. After a 20 minute boat ride from Praslin (another island) to Curieuse Marine National Park, visitors go ashore at Baie Laraie. In the harbour, visitors see the hundreds of the local giant hump-head parrotfish that can be up to 1.2 metres long, and on the land, visitors see giant tortoises relaxing around the park rangers’ headquarters. Visitors are able to feed the tortoises.

4.Baie Sainte Anne - Anse Madge & Anse Takamaka

This little town is one of the many places you'll want to visit during your stay in Seychelles. This place is a boating hotspot as there is a small distance between this island and others such as Mahe and Praslin.

5. Aldabra Atoll + Islands

The four main islands are built from coral limestone.

People wanting to visit Aldabra must get special permission from the Seychelles Islands Foundation at their head office (as not every one is allowed to go to the island). Tourism increases the people needed to support the conservation and protection of Aldabra, but tourism is strictly limited to nature tourism and education.

Permission for tourism is only given to:

• Small and medium sized cruise ships
• Live-aboard charter boats
• Private yachts
• Live-aboard dive boats
• Educational and Scientific visits on land that are limited to 12 persons at a time

Visiters to the island may not collect shells or anything away take from the island. They don't want you to damage any of the wild life or plants. This island is only to look at and not to stay at. There are no resterants or hotels here as they don't want people to mess up the islands.
